Tirumala Prepares for Rathasaptami on February 4
�Tirupati: Tirumala is gearing up for the Rathasaptami festival on February 4, featuring Lord Malayappa’s procession atop seven vahanams from dawn to dusk. The event begins with the Suryaprabha Vahanam (5:30 to 8 am), followed by other vahanams, ending with Chandraprabha (8–9 PM). TTD is focusing on crowd management, security, water distribution, and Annaprasadam for the large influx of devotees. Arjitha sevas, privileged darshans, and recommendation letters are cancelled from February 3–5. Only Sarva Darshan and Special Entry ticket holders are permitted. TTD EO J. Syamala Rao and additional EO Ch. Venkaiah Chowdary reviewed preparations, including vigilance, decorations, and emergency plans, during inspections of mada streets.
