Revanth Dished out Falsehoods to Delhi Voters: TG BJP

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, who has failed to deliver on his poll promises in Telangana, has made election promises on behalf of the Congress to the people of Delhi, the Telangana BJP said on Thursday. The party charged that Revanth Reddy exhibited his duplicity and lack of consistency to Delhi voters. Addressing a press conference, BJP general secretary Dr Kasam Venkateshwarlu charged that the Congress government had failed to deliver the six guarantees including farm loan waiver to all eligible beneficiaries, Rythu Bharosa to farmers and tenant farmers, unemployment allowance to students and implementation of 42 per cent reservations to BCs in all the elections. The BJP also highlighted the Congress party’s failure to implement its guarantees in Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh, leaving state finances in turmoil. Venkateshwarlu said that the party would conduct 'Samvidhan Abhiyan' (Constitution Campaign) all over the state till January 26. The party will hold conferences with intellectuals at all district headquarters on January 19 and 20, corner meetings with members of SC, ST and BC communities on January 22 and 23, and meetings with college students recalling the services rendered by Dr BR Ambedkar on January 24 and 25.
