Youth Killed on NH-44 Due to Service Road Works

�Nizamabad: A motorbike rider died in a road accident on National Highway 44 near Chandrayanpally village in Indalwai mandal on Sunday. The victim, identified as Bathula Nagaraju (35) from Medak district, was fatally hit by a speeding container truck after he fell onto the highway. According to police, Nagaraju was travelling from Kamareddy to Nizamabad on a personal work when he failed to notice gravel bags placed on the road for service road construction. His bike collided with the obstruction, causing him to fall onto the highway.

Locals alleged that the absence of warning signboards near the service road construction site has made the highway dangerous for commuters. Indalwai police arrived at the scene, shifted the body to Government General Hospital in Nizamabad for post-mortem, and registered a case for further investigation.
