Telangana: Governor's Excellence Awards-2024 Winners Announced
Hyderabad: The Telangana Governor's Office has announced the recipients of the 'Governor's Excellence Awards-2024'. A total of 8 individuals and organizations have been selected for their exceptional contributions in various fields. These awards will be presented by Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Verma on January 26, 2024, as part of Republic Day celebrations. The Governor's Excellence Awards will be given annually to individuals and organizations excelling in the fields of environment protection, welfare of the disabled, sports, and culture. Governor's Principal Secretary Burra Venkatesham stated that the awards recognize those who have provided outstanding service in these areas over the last five years. Each recipient will receive a memento and a cash prize of Rs. 2 lakh. The selected awardees are: Dusharla Satyanarayana Arikapudi Raghu Paralympic medalist Jivanji Deepthi Professor M. Panduranga Rao and P.B. Krishnabharti (jointly) Dhruvamshu Organization LV Prasad Eye Hospital Aditya Mehta Foundation Samsuktri Foundation
