TDP Signs MoU to Provide Rs 5 Lakh Accident Insurance to Party Workers
Vijayawada: TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with an insurance company to provide accident insurance coverage to one crore party workers. The MoU was signed at his Undavalli residence in the presence of representatives from United India Insurance and Pragmatic Insurance Broking Services. Under the agreement, the party has paid an initial installment of Rs 42 crore to cover the insurance premium for the period from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025. A similar premium amount is expected to be paid for the subsequent year. The insurance scheme will provide Rs 5 lakh accident coverage for each worker enrolled as a party member.�
