Srivari Kalyanaratham Departs for Prayagraj Kumbh Mela

Tirupati: The Srivari Kalyanaratham has left for the Prayagraj Kumbh Mela, marking the beginning of a spiritual journey from Tirumala to Uttar Pradesh. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman, BR Naidu, along with the Additional Executive Officer (EO) Venkaiah Chowdhury, performed special pujas before the Kalyana Ratham's departure. The Kumbh Mela, scheduled from January 13 to February 26, 2025, will witness the unveiling of a Srivari model temple on a 2.5-acre plot of land allotted by the Uttar Pradesh government. This temple will replicate the Tirumala model, offering devotees a chance to experience the rituals and divine services associated with Lord Venkateswara. In the model temple, 170 staff members will perform all the Kainkaryas (divine services) in line with Tirumala practices. Devotees from Uttar Pradesh and beyond will have the opportunity to witness the meritorious services of Swami Venkateswara during this spiritual event. As part of the celebrations, four Srivari Kalyanotsavams will be held on January 18, 26, February 3, and 12. TTD Chairman BR Naidu urged the public to cooperate and ensure the success of the Kumbh Mela event, fostering spiritual unity and devotion among the devotees.
