Kusumanchi: Revenue, housing, and information minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy stated that housing plots will be allocated to every eligible journalist under the Indiramma government.
He participated as the chief guest at a meeting of Paleru constituency media friends held on Monday at Vijayarama Function Hall in Kusumanchi.
On this occasion,journalists brought several issues they were facing to the minister's attentionjournalists brought several issues they were facing to the minister's attention. Subsequently, the minister spoke and assured that the long-pending housing problems of journalists would be resolved under their government.
He mentioned that the journalists' housing society issue is currently under the purview of the Supreme Court. Nevertheless, he stated that they are making efforts to ensure housing plots for journalists without encountering legal obstacles. He assured that a solution to their problem would be found very soon.
Similarly, he stated that the delays in granting accreditation and health cards, as well as the flaws arising in their implementation, would be rectified. Additionally, he promised to arrange for a media house or press club to be established in Kusumanchi centre as per the request of media friends. He suggested that journalists bring any further difficulties or problems to his attention. Ponguleti assured them that he would resolve all possible and legitimate demands within his purview.
