Teenmar Mallanna makes remarks against Congress leaders
Hyderabad: Congress disciplinary committee issued a showcause notice to party MLC Teemar Mallanna for his remarks made against a few Congress leaders during a meeting held recently.
Mallanna also questioned the purpose of comprehensive caste census and termed it as upper caste survey. He went to the extent of saying that a few MLAs were praising the survey instead of frankly saying that it was lopsided.
“Who are you to give me notices? The Congress party is your brother-in-law. The Congress is ours. If they try to threaten me, it won’t work. I will not tolerate injustice. Some MLAs are not saying that the caste census survey is bad, but are praising it as transparent,” he said.
The remarks of Mallanna amount to violating the discipline prompting the party to issue a notice to him.
