CM’s Priorities Only Politics, Not State: Botsa
YSRC leader says Chandra Babu Naidu failed to get sops for the state
Visakhapatnam: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s priorities have been political but not for the state development, said Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council Botsa Satyanarayana in Visakhapatnam on Sunday.
Botsa said the Union Budget was a clear testimony of Chandrababu Naidu’s priorities which are focused not on state interests as he lagged in getting sops when compared to Bihar which has a fewer number of seats in Lok Sabha than TD.
The YSRC leader said while Bihar with 12 MPs could take away lion’s share, TD with 16 MPs failed to get any major benefits as the intent of Chandrababu Naidu has been to pursue his interests rather than that of state interests.
Barring the quote of Gurajada Apparao, there is no mention of Andhra Pradesh with the exception of Polavaram height reduction, he said.
The union government has announced 75,000 medical college seats and Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy who initiated the process of setting up 17 medical colleges has completed five and work was in progress in the remaining. Chandrababu Naidu has stalled the movie and returned the seats and has agreed for a PPP model.
