Chandrababu Naidu asks youth to upskill and work from home for additional income

Kadapa: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu informed youth that software workstations would be set up in every district. He said that 'Work from Home' would be encouraged, as it was providing additional income to the youth in villages, apart from revenue through cultivation.

Naidu was speaking to software employees at the Praja Vedika arranged in Sambepalli, Annamaiah district.

He lauded the youth of Rayalaseema for upskilling themselves and brightening the state's future.

"If you are properly skilled, you need not search for jobs. The companies only will come in search of you."

Naidu distributed the social welfare pensions to the eligible beneficiaries, identified under the NTR Bharosa scheme, in the district.

The CM said that Tata Innovation Hubs would be set up at five places in the state. Plans are being chalked out to divert Godavari water to Rayalaseema through Banakacharla project, so as to provide irrigation to every acre in the region, he said.

He also said that the income from horticulture crop cultivation in Anantapur has surpassed that in Amalapuram, in the coastal belt.

Earlier, the governments tried to take governance to the doorstep of the people. Now, the TD coalition has transformed it and put 'governance into people's hands by introducing WhatsApp governance, he pointed out.

The huge mandate given by you in the general elections helped Andhra Pradesh gain importance at the Centre, he said.
