Bhatti promises facilities at ancient temples

Khammam:� Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Sunday reiterated the state government's commitment to enhance facilities at ancient temples for the convenience of devotees.
During an inspection of Sri Ramalingeshwara Swamy temple at Lakshmipuram in Wyra, Bhatti said that historic temples would be preserved as per the regulations of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). He said they have great historical significance and depict the nation’s rich heritage.
The Deputy CM noted that Rs 3.2 crore was allocated for the construction of an Abhisekha Mandapam, Kalyana Mandapam, and cottages at the temple. He directed officials to ensure timely completion of the ongoing development works within the stipulated contract period.
Wyra MLA Maloth Ramadas Nayak and Telangana Warehouse Corporation Chairman Rayala Nageswara Rao were also present during the inspection.
