Warriors Are Reportedly Discussing Trading Draymond Green

The Golden State Warriors are going to do something before Thursday’s trade deadline, we just don’t know what it is.

But there is a chance they part ways with one of their biggest stars and someone who has been with them for over ten years.

On Wednesday morning, Sam Amick reported that the Warriors have discussed trading Draymond Green.

“It’s 100 percent been discussed internally,” Amick said on “Run It Back,” via NBACentral.

That would be a major change for the Warriors and a sign of how serious they are about changing.

Green has been with the Warriors since the start of his career in 2012-13 and has averaged 8.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game.

He has been a huge part of the team’s success and has made a tremendous impact on its culture and chemistry.

Saying goodbye to him would be saying goodbye to an important chapter in the team’s history.

Green is a four-time All-Star and four-time champion too.

He would bring years of experience and postseason success to any team he joins.

Of course, Green has his fair share of baggage due to years of bad behavior and many suspensions and on-court altercations.

Plus, he is growing older and is currently 34 years old with a history of injuries.

Still, he might be worth it for a number of teams.

Who are the Warriors talking to, and how seriously are they considering a Green trade?

That isn’t clear right now, but everything will come into focus by Thursday afternoon.
