The NBA trade market is heating up with the deadline just a few weeks away.

Between now and February 6, fans will see a lot of changes and movement, including some big stars.

Michael Scotto has reported that two big men could be on the market for multiple second-round picks.

Those two players are Jonas Valančiūnas and Robert Williams, according to NBACentral.

Scotto wrote:

“Valanciunas and Williams are expected to command multiple second-round picks on the trade market, according to various NBA executives who’ve spoken to HoopsHype.”

Valančiūnas and Williams are two players who have been talked about as trade assets since the start of the season.

They are both playing for teams that have no chance of making the playoffs and are instead looking at rebuilding their rosters.

The Washington Wizards and Portland Trail Blazers will definitely be sellers before the upcoming deadline, so they might part ways with players beyond just Valančiūnas and Williams.

Second-round draft picks aren’t too pricey, so multiple teams could be in contention to land these two stars.

They have both been linked to several squads, such as the Golden State Warriors, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers, and more.

These are two talented big men who could greatly assist the frontcourt of any organization.

There are concerns about Williams and his health, however.

That could complicate any deal for him.

But regardless of any concerns, it now seems likely that Valančiūnas and Williams will soon be leaving their current teams.

No one knows where they will go, but the front office phones in Washington and Portland will surely be ringing a lot before February 6.
