Jaren Jackson Jr. and Evan Mobley have been named the NBA's Defensive Players of the Month for December. Jackson was the only player in the NBA to record at least 20 blocks and 20 steals in the month. The Memphis Grizzlies are ranked third in the West with a defensive rating of 108.1. Mobley was tied for the second on the East in contested shots per game at 10.0. The Cleveland Cavaliers led the East in defensive rating at 106.2. Dyson Daniels and Victor Wembanyama won the award in November.
