Cam Johnson of the Brooklyn Nets has received a ton of interest from other teams as the NBA trade deadline approaches.
In fact, he may be the most-wanted trade target this year.
But anyone wanting to see Johnson move to a new team soon will have to wait.
According to Evan Sidery, no trade for Johnson is imminent “as the Nets have massive amounts of trade interest from contending teams.”
“Brooklyn plans to wait until closer to the February 6th trade deadline in order to return maximum value,” Sidery wrote on X.
The Nets reportedly believe they can get two first-round picks in exchange for Johnson.

That would be quite a haul for Johnson, who is averaging 19.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game on 49.9 percent shooting from the floor.
This season has given Johnson a great opportunity to show off his skills and prove what he can bring to any team.
This has raised his trade value, and the idea of the Nets getting at least two first-round picks for him doesn’t feel far-fetched.
The Nets are smart to wait for a few more weeks before they deal Johnson away because other front offices will only get more desperate for him.
That will give them more negotiating power and they will be able to get the best deal possible as the clock ticks down to Feb. 6.
As Sidery mentioned, a bunch of teams want Johnson and they will all be vying to trade for him.
So no one knows where he will land, but Brooklyn will almost certainly get a great return.
