Hyderabad: The Telangana Tourism Department has prepared a draft for the Telangana Tourism Policy 2025-30 with the ambitious goal of positioning the state as a leading global tourist destination. Vision: The Tourism Policy envisions positioning Telangana as “India's Most Preferred Destination.” Key Aims: Attract Investments: Attract Rs 15,000 crore of new investments in the tourism sector over the next five years. Boost Tourist Arrivals: Position Telangana among the top 5 states in both domestic and international tourist arrivals. Create Employment: Generate an additional 3 lakh employment opportunities in the tourism sector within five years. Enhance Economic Contribution: Increase tourism's contribution to the state's GDP to 10% or higher. Globalise Attractions: Showcase the state's diverse attractions on the global stage.
