Notification issued for Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Teacher’s MLC elections

Nalgonda: Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Teachers' MLC election returning officer and district collector Ila Tripathi has urged candidates and political parties to adhere to the Model Code of Conduct during the election process.
Releasing the election notification on Monday, Tripathi announced that nominations opened at 10 am on February 3, with the last date for filing set for February 10. Scrutiny of nominations will take place on February 11, while candidates can withdraw their nominations until February 13. Polling is scheduled from 8 am to 4 pm on February 27, with vote counting set for March 3.
A total of 200 polling stations will be set up across Warangal, Khammam, and Nalgonda districts. According to the draft voters’ list, there are 24,905 registered electors, including 14,940 male and 9,965 female voters.
Tripathi emphasised that meetings and rallies cannot be conducted without prior permission from authorities, warning that violations will be dealt with as per election regulations.
On the first day of nominations, Praja Vani Party candidate Lingidi Venkateshwarlu filed his nomination.
