This February, CUR8, the elegant all-day dining destination at Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru, brings royal finesse to the forefront with Chef Mohammed Nadeem Qureshi, heir to an illustrious lineage of Lucknow-based khansamas—the esteemed family chefs who once served the Nawabs. With generations of expertise woven into his craft, Chef Qureshi invites Bengaluru’s culinary connoisseurs on an extraordinary journey through the rich flavours that graced royal courts, from February 7 to February 16, 2025.


Bringing the romance of this heritage to the palate, Chef Nadeem showcases Sigri and Dum—two iconic North Indian cooking techniques that celebrate the art of slow grilling and slow cooking, respectively. Lucknow is a feast for the senses—from the golden light spilling into bustling lanes where every meal is an invitation to dine like royalty to the grand havelis where the echoes of Nawabi footsteps still linger. This festival promises to take diners on a sensory journey steeped in the history and richness of North India’s gastronomic past.

The specially curated menu features an outdoor Sigri live station alongside an indoor buffet of signature Dum dishes. Expect Sigri delicacies such as the melt-in-your-mouth Kakori Kebab, Banno Kebab, Murgh ke Parche, and the winter special Sarson ke Phool. The Dum offerings include time-honored favorites like Dum ka Murgh, Musallam, Haleem, and the rare Mutanjan Pulao—a delicacy once reserved for the most special occasions.

Adding a touch of theatrical flair, live cooking stations will showcase the magic of Sigri grilling and Dum cooking first-hand. Guests—whether amateur cooks or seasoned chefs—can engage in Sigri and Dum cooking challenges, immersive masterclasses, and hands-on sessions led by Chef Nadeem himself. Thoughtfully curated elements, from glowing lanterns to intricately designed miniature chulas (clay stoves), elevate the ambiance, making this a refined yet immersive culinary experience.
