APTDC offering Kumbh Mela bus services for pilgrims

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) is offering special Maha Kumbh Mela bus services for pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to various locations across Uttar Pradesh. According to an APTDC press release on Thursday, the corporation will run two special bus services, departing from Tirupati and Nellore on February 11 and February 12, respectively. For reservations, individuals can contact www.aptdc.in or visit tourism.ap.gov.in. APTDC officials said the first special service will depart from Tirupati at 6 a.m. on February 11. The service will stop at various locations, including Ontimitta, Kadapa Bypass, Orvakallu, Kurnool Bypass, Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Chitrakut, Prayagraj, Kashi and Nagpur before returning. The tour will conclude in Telangana on February 17 and in Andhra Pradesh on February 18. The package cost of the tour will be between ₹20,000 and ₹22,000 for adults and between ₹17,200 and ₹19,000 for children, depending on the pickup point. However, pilgrims will need to pay their darshan, meals and refreshment charges. For additional information, pilgrims can contact APTDC officials at Tirupati, Kadapa, Kurnool and Hyderabad. The second special service will start from Nellore at 6 a.m. on February 12, travelling via Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Annavaram, Visakhapatnam, Puri, Konark, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Chandipur, Gaya, Bodh Gaya and Kashi before reaching Prayagraj. On the return journey, the service will return to Vijayawada via Sri Kurmam and Arasavalli. The tour will conclude in Andhra Pradesh on February 18 and February 19.
