Vijayanand has instructed secretaries, department heads, and district collectors to address public complaints and petitions promptly and efficiently. During a review meeting at the sate secretariat on Wednesday, he emphasised resolving non-financial complaints immediately and directed each department to appoint a nodal officer for grievance redressal. Random checks will be conducted to ensure proper resolution. The chief secretary announced that the collectors' meeting is expected in the second or third week of February. He instructed secretaries to share detailed information about departmental schemes and programmes with district collectors a week prior to the meeting, enabling informed discussions. Vijayanand stressed efficient administration to achieve a 15% growth rate under the Swarna Andhra 2047 vision. The Planning Department has identified 525 key performance indicators, and departments must work towards meeting these targets. The Chief Secretary also directed departments to provide data to the Director of Social Welfare for submission to the one-man commission on SC categorisation by January 27.
