It’s not a matter of if the Phoenix Suns change their roster, it’s when.
Stuck in 11th place in the West with a 30-36 record, the Suns aren’t even eligible for the play-in tournament right now and fans are crying out for the front office to do something.
This summer could be hugely consequential for the team, but one player won’t be packing his bag.
According to Tim MacMahon, per Evan Sidery, Devin Booker is “fully committed to the Suns for the rest of his career while being in complete alignment with their front office.”
Suns owner Mat Ishbia said that this summer could see the team pursuing a “pivot and reload” approach to trades, building a better roster around Booker.
So, if Booker is here to stay, who is leaving?

The four-time All-Star is averaging 25.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 6.8 assists for the Suns, who he has played for since they drafted him in 2015.
Booker has been the team’s only mainstay, while everything around him has changed.
Players, coaches, and even owners have come and gone but Booker has remained loyal to the team and they want to keep it that way.
But if they hope to start a new chapter with Booker onboard, the Suns will have to part ways with others, including Kevin Durant.
Durant is the player most likely to leave this summer but he may not be alone.
In fact, multiple stars could be sent to new teams and the Suns could be really different in 2025-26, although Booker will be at the center of it all.
Suns fans want success but they also want stability.
It sounds like they will have some of the stability they desire because Booker isn’t going anywhere.
