The NBA Draft class of 2020 was a different one.
Due to the pandemic, teams and players didn’t undergo a normal recruiting process, leading to some questionable picks.
The Chicago Bulls, unfortunately, joined that list.
They used the No. 4 pick to draft Patrick Williams out of Florida State.
Fast forward to today, and they might not even want him on the team anymore.
According to a report by Joe Cowley (via Evan Sidery), the Bulls have finally made the forward available for trade.
The Bulls have recently made Patrick Williams available in trade talks, per @JCowleyHoops (https://t.co/VaDvy6fLed).

Williams just got a five-year contract extension worth $90 million this season.
He was supposed to pan out as a defensive specialist with a Kawhi Leonard-like type of play.
He has been decent on defense, but his offense never took off.
He’s also missed plenty of time with different injuries.
Given his age and physical tools, there’s a chance that a team could look to make a run at him at the right price.
Also, the Bulls need to get him off the roster to make room for Matas Buzelis, who needs to be on the court as early and often as possible.
The Bulls’ long-overdue rebuilding process has repeatedly set the team back, as they have refused to fully embrace the tank and get a star.
And even when they’ve gotten high draft picks, they have failed to capitalize on them.
