Jaxson Hayes Out 2-3 Weeks With Re-Sprained Right Ankle
The Los Angeles Lakers will again be down some frontcourt depth for a couple of weeks. Jaxson Hayes suffered a re-sprain of his right ankle and will be out two to three weeks. Hayes has been the primary backup for Anthony Davis this season. In 17.5 minutes per game, the veteran center is averaging 6.4 points on 72.2% shooting and 4.5 rebounds per game. Two-Way player Christian Koloko is likely to see increased minutes behind Davis while Hayes is out. The third-year center has appeared in 10 games since being activated by Los Angeles. Koloko missed all of last season while recovering from a blood clot issue.
