1 NBA Star Could Miss First Game of Season

The Miami Heat are set to play the Portland Trail Blazers and it could be an easy victory for them.

However, they may be without a star who has been on a wonderful run lately.

According to Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald, Tyler Herro has been added to the Heat injury report with right groin tightness.

Herro hasn’t missed a game this season and has been a vital part of the lineup, so the Heat will definitely miss him if he sits out.

Herro has yet to miss a game this season.

Kevin Love has also been added to the injury report. He’s probable due to personal reasons.

Herro has been downright sensational this year, averaging 24.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game.

He is sinking 47.8 percent of his shots from the floor and 40.7 percent of his 3-point attempts.

The Heat have needed Herro a lot, partly because of all the drama they have experienced with Jimmy Butler.

They are looking for a leader to play alongside Bam Adebayo, and Herro has proven that can be him.

A little more than a year ago, there were rumors about Herro being traded away from the Heat and his future was in question.

Now he looks like someone the team can build around.

Herro is young and generally quite healthy, but even he can fall to injuries every once in a while.

The good news is that this doesn’t sound too bad, so Herro could be back soon if he has to be on the sidelines against Portland.

The Heat will take a short road trip to face the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets.
