Even at 40 years old, LeBron James is having an amazing season and is playing better than many people half his age.
On top of that, James is outplaying everyone else in his age bracket.
According to StatMuse, James has the most points by a player 35+ this season.
He has scored 1,450 points, ahead of Kevin Durant with 1,401, Steph Curry with 1,373, and James Harden with 1,357.
He is now 40 years old but James simply isn’t slowing down.

It’s impressive to see James score so many points at his age and it’s also impressive to see multiple iconic players in the NBA who are older than 35.
Longevity in the league is increasing and James is a prime example of that.
He is 40 now but people have speculated that he could play for at least a couple more years.
He is currently averaging 25.0 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 8.5 assists per game, shooting 51.7 percent from the field and 38.4 percent from the three-point line.
And while he is injured more often than when he was younger, he is still quite healthy and has played in 58 games this season.
With numbers like that, no one can blame James for putting off retirement.
The Los Angeles Lakers are currently without James as he recovers from a groin injury.
He is scheduled to be out for at least one to two weeks.
This will give the rest of the roster, including Luka Doncic, a chance to find a strong identity without James.
That is important, especially since James won’t be playing forever, even though he is still doing spectacular things right now.
