The Los Angeles Lakers made their first trade of the season a few days ago when they acquired Dorian Finney-Smith and Shake Milton from the Brooklyn Nets.

However, that doesn’t mean they’re done.

According to Anthony Irwin, per NBACentral, the Lakers are reportedly “showing interest” in Robert Williams, Day’Ron Sharpe, Walker Kessler, and Nick Richards.

Although the Lakers are interested in all of these stars, there is no guarantee that they will be able to land any of them in a trade.

It’s clear that the Lakers are looking to improve their frontcourt and get more support for Anthony Davis.

This makes a lot of sense, considering they are already shortstaffed in that department and injuries seem to be a problem for all of their big men.

Each of these players could greatly assist the team’s offense and defense, especially in the paint.

But their respective teams might demand a lot from LA, and the Lakers’ front office may not be willing to create a deal.

They still have some first-round draft picks, which are obviously very enticing.

However, are any of these stars worth that sort of trade asset?

Fans should be happy to see that the front office is attempting to bolster the frontcourt because this is something that loyal Lakers followers have been crying out for for a very long time.

Can Rob Pelinka and his staff get the job done and which of these players will be heading out west before the trade deadline?

The Lakers were able to get Finney-Smith and Milton with a relatively friendly deal.

Can they do it again and secure their coveted big man?
