The Philadelphia 76ers did really well in the NBA draft last summer when they landed Jared McCain.

So far, the rookie is averaging 16.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game on 48.4 percent from the field and 42.7 percent from the three-point line.

According to StatMamba, McCain has the most three-pointers made by a player in their first five career starts in NBA history.

What a season the young star is having.

He is sinking 2.5 of his 5.9 three-pointers per game, which is 48.4 percent.

The player is a threat from all over, and he has immediately helped the 76ers on offense, even though they are still a struggling team.

He was selected as the 16th overall pick in June’s draft, and many fans weren’t sure what they’d get from McCain.

A big concern was his height.

Because he is six-foot-two, some people thought he wouldn’t be productive on the court, but he has shown that his size isn’t something that will slow him down or hold him back.

The Sixers need all the bright spots they can get right now, and McCain is definitely one of them.

The team has a horrible 3-12 record, and it’s not clear when things will get better because of several injuries plaguing them.

Although they are low in the standings, this is giving McCain more time to play and show what he is capable of.

Fans love what they see from him and think he could be Rookie of the Year.

No matter what happens, he is a great addition to the team.
