The firing of Mike Brown by the Sacramento Kings was met with both praise and criticism.
Some fans said it was the right move that would help the team rebound, while others said Brown was a scapegoat and not responsible for Sacramento’s woes.
Speaking on “Full Court Cleveland,” Sam Amico gave insight into what led to Brown’s firing.
He said that Brown is a very talented coach who knows what he’s doing but isn’t always great at conveying his thoughts and “selling” his ideas.
Amico didn’t say if Brown deserved to be fired but did claim that “the fall guy is almost always the coach.”
For some around the NBA, Mike Brown being fired by the Kings is an absolute head-scratcher.

Brown was in Sacramento for three seasons and earned a 111-89 record.
When this season began, there were high hopes for the Kings and Brown had committed to a new contract with the team.
But Sacramento began to flounder, and there were growing concerns about Brown’s job.
Still, it was somewhat surprising to see him sacked, and the front office has faced some pushback for the way they let him go.
Brown may move onto another team because he obviously has talent.
He previously worked as an assistant coach for the Washington Wizards, San Antonio Spurs, Indiana Pacers, and Golden State Warriors.
He was also the head coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Lakers.
But if Brown gets another job in the NBA, he needs to pay attention to how he speaks with his players and gets his points across.
That is clearly something that has held him back and set him up for failure in Sacramento.
