The Golden State Warriors are desperate to climb higher in the standings and stop giving up winnable games.
In order for that to happen, they may need to make some trades before the upcoming NBA deadline.
According to Jake Weinbach, via Courtside Buzz, the Warriors are interested in Nikola Vucevic of the Chicago Bulls.
Weinbach reported:
“Golden State would likely offer the expiring contracts of Gary Payton II & Kevon Looney, a minimum contract, & a 2025 protected first-round pick in a deal for Vucevic.”

Vucevic has been a rumored trade target for multiple teams over the years.
In fact, it is also being reported that the Los Angeles Lakers are looking at signing the big man, who is averaging 20.4 points and 10.1 rebounds this season.
The Warriors have been in the mix for a number of players, but this proposed deal for Vucevic might be the most favorable.
They would have to cut ties with a few players and a draft picks, but they would also be able to keep players like Andrew Wiggins and Jonathan Kuminga.
This could be the best deal they will see before the trade deadline.
Of course, the Warriors might have to give up more than this since other teams also want Vucevic.
Negotiations could escalate and more might be asked of Golden State.
What would they be willing to give up in order to trade for him?
Would Vucevic be the solution to their problems?
More frontcourt power could definitely help the Warriors, but it wouldn’t eliminate everything plaguing the team.
