Will the Philadelphia 76ers ever be fully healthy?
That’s a question that many fans are asking now that Joel Embiid has been hurt yet again.
On Monday, Shams Charania reported, via Legion Hoops, that Embiid is expected to miss at least one week of games with a sinus fracture.
Embiid was hurt during Friday’s loss to the Indiana Pacers and now the 76ers will be without him for a few games.

In the game, Embiid fought against Bennedict Mathurin for a defensive rebound when he was nailed with an elbow to the face.
He then left the game and did not return in the second half.
Friday’s match against Indiana was just Embiid’s sixth game of the season because of knee swelling that has limited his availability all season long.
During those six games, Embiid has averaged 20.3 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 3.8 assists.
This isn’t Embiid’s first physical problem with his face, as he suffered orbital bone fractures in 2022 and 2018.
Last season, Embiid was dealt another blow when he fought through a case of Bell’s palsy during the playoffs.
The 76ers cannot catch a break when it comes to injuries.
They recently learned they’ll be without rookie phenom Jared McCain for a considerable amount of time because of a torn meniscus.
Of course, they also had to contend with a lack of Paul George and Tyrese Maxey in 2024-25 too.
Every time it looks like the team is finally looking complete, an injury like this occurs and throws plans off track.
Over the next week, the Sixers will play the Charlotte Hornets twice and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Will they be able to welcome Embiid back after that?
