Draymond Green Reacts To Jordan Poole’s Comments About Warriors

It doesn’t feel that long ago that the Golden State Warriors were ruling the NBA and competing for championships with Stephen Curry leading the way.

However, the 2024-25 NBA season has been a massive disappointment for the Warriors, who currently own a 21-20 record and barely hold on to the 10th seed in the Western Conference.

The collective talent drain over the years has sapped Golden State of its overall strength, and thus, the team could very well find itself on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoffs.

Perhaps the organization’s downfall really began a couple of years ago when Draymond Green punched Jordan Poole in practice.

This set off a series of events that eventually led to the guard being traded to the Washington Wizards.

Green was remorseful after the altercation, though Poole hasn’t forgotten what transpired between the two.

Poole commented about his love for some of his former Warriors teammates, to which Green responded via his personal X account.

“I really am sorry,” Green tweeted.
