Damian Lillard of the Milwaukee Bucks is now in his 13th season in the NBA and remains one of the most respected guards in the league.
Even though he’s a vital part of the Bucks now, no one knows what the future holds.
In fact, according to BasketNews, per Legion Hoops, Lillard isn’t completely opposed to the idea of retiring overseas in the EuroLeague.
When asked about ending his career in the EuroLeague, Lillard said:
“You never know.”

Should Bucks fans freak out and be scared of Lillard packing his bags and heading to Europe?
It’s definitely too soon to be concerned about that, but it sounds like Lillard is contemplating how he wants to end his time playing professional basketball.
At 34 years old, he is still averaging 24.8 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game.
He will always have a home in the NBA, even if he leaves Milwaukee.
Plenty of teams would leap at the chance to get Lillard, even if his output diminishes as he grows older.
That means if Lillard does spend time in the EuroLeague, it’ll be because he wants to.
In other words, he won’t be forced out of the NBA.
There was a time when NBA stars would recoil at the idea of playing in the EuroLeague, but things have changed, and now there is great money and fame to be found in international leagues.
And the competition is just as tough as ever, meaning Lillard would be able to play some hard and exciting basketball.
In all likelihood, he will retire as an NBA player, although he may not be with the Bucks.
But the EuroLeague will always be ready to welcome him with open arms.
