Dalton Knecht Reveals What He’s Learned About LeBron James

Los Angeles Lakers rookie Dalton Knecht has had quite the year.

He is one of the most talked-about newcomers in the league and has played against, and with, some of the biggest stars on the planet.

He has grown close with his teammate LeBron James and revealed to Dave McMenamin what he has learned about him.

According to Legion Hoops, Knecht said:

“How much he loves to play Madden. He always talks about [it]… I didn’t really know it was that much. He watches it on the plane and stuff. He watches film just like it’s basketball. It’s crazy.”

He may be a basketball icon but James has repeatedly stated how much he loves playing the Madden video games.

Apparently, he loves them so much that he speaks about playing often and even watches film to be a better player.

The fact that James spends his downtime playing a very competitive video game, usually against other people, shows the sort of player he is.

He just loves to win and even when he isn’t on the basketball court he is trying to score victories.

Knecht has surely learned more about James.

Throughout his first few months in the league, he has had multiple great games and has grown as a player.

Today he is viewed as one of the best rookies in the NBA and an important part of the Lakers’ roster.

James only has a few more seasons in the NBA—will Knecht play with him for all of them?

And will they get the chance to play Madden one-on-one?
