The Utah Jazz have struggled to keep up with the rest of the pack this season.
Will Hardy’s team has some interesting pieces and young talent but lacks a clear-cut star to build around.
Lauri Markkanen is the closest thing they have to that, and while he’s been pretty solid for the most part, he needs more pieces around him.
With that in mind, the team might consider offloading some of its veterans to add more draft capital to its ranks.
According to a report by Evan Sidery of Forbes Sports, they are expected to move on from Jordan Clarkson and John Collins.
Two veterans on the Jazz who are expected to become available on the trade market: Jordan Clarkson and John Collins.
Clarkson is under contract through 2025-26 making $14 million annually.
Collins could be tougher to move due to his $26.6 million salary over the next two years. pic.twitter.com/affkrVdsqf

According to his report, Clarkson is under contract through the 2026 season and currently makes $14 million a year.
He’s one of the best backup guards in the league, an instant offensive catalyst off the bench who can play on and off the ball and score from all three levels.
However, he’s also missed time this season with a nagging knee injury.
On the other hand, Collins is a pretty interesting player who can hold his own on defense and be a factor in the restricted area on offense.
Then again, Sidery believes he could be tougher to trade, making $26.6 million annually over the next two years.
While Collins is a good player, he is somewhat smaller at the four, undersized at the five, and lacks the shooting ability to consistently play at the three.
He makes a lot of sense for several teams, but at almost $27 million a season, it will be tough to fit him on their books.
