Tari Eason Held Back In Attempt To Confront Heckling Fan In Sacramento
Tari Eason was allegedly held back by security officials from entering the stands to confront a fan following the Houston Rockets' 120-111 loss at the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday. Eason heard a heckle from a nearby fan as he was leaving the court and walking through the tunnel toward the Rockets' locker room. Eason threw his towel in response while yelling obscenities toward the fan. Eason then ran up the ramp that leads to the lower concourse to the fan section, but was held back by two security officials A NBA spokesman said the NBA is aware of the incident and are reviewing the situation. Ime Udoka and Alepern Sengun were ejected from the game as the Rockets were upset with the officiating in the loss.
