Going back to his high school days, Zion Williamson was a player who captivated the nation with incredible ability, as his athleticism seemed superhuman and something every basketball fan couldn’t wait to see in the NBA.

Williamson took his skills to Duke University and played under legendary head coach Mike Krzyzewski, where he made even more fans eager to see what he would be capable of on the professional level.

Inevitably, Williamson was selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft by the New Orleans Pelicans, which was thought to be a move that would take the team to the next level.

Unfortunately, Williamson has struggled to stay healthy and in shape throughout his NBA career thus far and has failed to live up to expectations despite having flashes of brilliance in New Orleans.

Former Pelicans teammate and current Boston Celtics star Jrue Holiday said he thinks Williamson should pay more attention to one aspect of his game to unlock his true potential in the league.

“Zion is one of the most gifted players that I’ve ever seen. … But I feel like he needs to change in some kind of way. … I’d have him play a little bit more defense,” Holiday said, via Podcast P with Paul George.
