The Golden State Warriors remain Steph Curry’s team, and the franchise would be at a total loss without him.
Even as he grows older, Curry remains the Warriors’ most valuable player and a cornerstone of their identity.
Some fans are always concerned that Curry may choose to leave the Warriors if they don’t compete for another championship soon.
But head coach Steve Kerr isn’t worried about that.
Speaking to 95.7 The Game, via NBC Sports, Kerr was asked about Curry leaving Golden State and said:
“No way. I don’t think so. I just think Steph loves the Warriors, he loves the idea of being a Warrior for life.”
"He loves the idea of being a Warrior for life."

Curry admits that retirement is looming larger than ever, and at 36 years old he knows he doesn’t have too much time left in the league.
And while he would love to win another title before he hangs it up, it doesn’t sound like he’d depart the Warriors to do that.
Curry has been fiercely loyal to the team since the very beginning.
Even when the Warriors have hit their fair share of rough patches, there were never major rumors about Curry leaving.
The Warriors currently hold a 19-20 record and are the 12th team in the West.
If he wanted to, Curry could be traded to just about any other team in the league.
All front offices would immediately pick up their phones if Golden State was calling about moving Curry, but that probably won’t happen.
Kerr believes his star player will retire as a Warrior, but it remains to be seen if he will claim another championship before he ends his illustrious and historic career.
