Steph Curry Says Knee Pain Could Become 'Nagging' But Is 'Not Worried About It'
Steph Curry discussed his lingering knee issues on Sunday, saying that he wants to get out in front of it before it becomes a "nagging" issue. "[It] has the potential [to be] like a nagging type thing if you don't take care of it. I'm not worried about it, not concerned about it at all," said Curry following the Warriors' loss to the Suns. Curry recently missed a game due to bilateral knee pain. Curry added that the team has come up with a treatment protocol, though he doesn't know if he'll end up missing more games. "Whether that's [sitting] a back-to-back here or there or whatever, we'll decide that as we go through. But I'm just trying to control how I feel and know that it's not a forced decision. It's a smart decision. That's all I'm trying to make possible," said Curry. Curry, who also implied that the team may need to shorten its rotation, is currently averaging 29 minutes per game this season.
