Skip Bayless Says 1 NBA Team’s Play Is ‘Pathetic’

The Los Angeles Lakers struggled to close the deal vs. the San Antonio Spurs.

Once again, J.J. Redick’s team showed some inconsistency after some strong outings.

They couldn’t stop the Spurs in the second half and were outscored 73-40, resulting in a 24-point home loss.

That’s why Skip Bayless made the most of the opportunity to call them out again.

Shortly after the setback, he took to X to call their defense ‘pathetic and lifeless,’ ripping them for losing to a team that had just lost three consecutive games.

Granted, it’s hard to put a lot on the Lakers right now.

What’s going on in Los Angeles is very serious, and they may have bigger and more important things on their minds right now.

Also, Bayless has spent the past two decades criticizing LeBron James and every single one of his teams, so perhaps we should take his comments with a grain of salt.

The Lakers have been up and down all season long, and it’s hard to be considered a contending team when you’re not consistent.

Still, they don’t have as much talent on their roster as other teams, and barring a major trade, they will have a tough time keeping up with other contenders.

The Lakers will now square off with the Miami Heat on Wednesday night.

And while staying focused on basketball will be a big challenge right now, they won’t have much time to rest on their laurels and get back on track.
