Could this season get any better for Gilgeous-Alexander?
The answer, of course, is yes.
Gilgeous-Alexander is on track for his first MVP trophy at the end of the season and his team will most definitely be the top seed in the West when the playoffs begin.
That means he could be just months away from winning a title for the first time.
So even though Gilgeous-Alexander is putting up historic numbers, things might actually be improving soon.
He might be the most important player for his Thunder, but the team is filled with a number of great stars.
The team’s success this season wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for everyone involved, not just Gilgeous-Alexander.
This is his seventh season in the league and he is doing better than ever before.
He is also currently leading the entire league in points per game at 32.6 a night.
In other words, everything is going right for Gilgeous-Alexander right now, and there is every reason to believe that will continue.
He was already possibly on his way to winning MVP and a championship, and now he sits in the history books alongside some of the biggest names to ever enter the NBA.
