De'Aaron Fox Becomes Third Player Ever With 109 Points In Consecutive Games

De'Aaron Fox has been on a two-game stretch that we've rarely seen in NBA history. One night after scoring 60 points in an overtime loss, Fox went for 49 in leading the Sacramento Kings to a win. The 109 points over a two-game stretch marks the third time a player has hit that point in consecutive games in NBA history. In 2007, Kobe Bryant scored 110 points. The list is topped, as are most scoring records, by Wilt Chamberlain, who scored at least 109 points in consecutive games 15 times in his career. Fox said postgame that being on the attack was what helped him put up so many points. "Being able to get downhill and touching the paint has worked wonders," Fox said. "Whenever you are able to do that, you're able to one, get to the rim, two, get to the free throw line and three, you're able to still create for teammates. I'm trying to have a point of emphasis on that."
