Scottie Pippen Reveals The Last Time He Talked To Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen might have been the greatest duo in NBA history.

They led the Chicago Bulls to six NBA championships in eight years, going undefeated in the NBA Finals.

In public, Jordan has always had nothing but praise for his sidekick, even admitting that he wouldn’t have been able to win without him.

However, throughout the years, multiple stories and reports have shown that they were never truly close.

That’s why it’s not particularly hard to believe that they haven’t talked in a while.

In his latest appearance on the PDBs Podcast, Pippen revealed that they hadn’t talked since the pandemic (via Legion Hoops).

Later in the interview, Pippen shut down the possibility of them ever fixing their estranged relationship, adding that Jordan was a very difficult person to deal with and that there was never much of a friendship to rescue in the first place.

Pippen reportedly disliked how he was portrayed in’ The Last Dance.’

Notably, the documentary only stated well-documented facts at the time, so it’s not like those were a secret.

Sam Smith’s book “The Jordan Rules” also sheds light on Pippen’s apparent insecurity and jealousy of Jordan and other players making more money or drawing more attention.

So, even though most who knew Jordan agreed that he was a tough character to deal with, Pippen was no different.
