I was one of the guys who was saying, like, ‘They don’t play defense; they are not like this or that.’ But that’s totally wrong. That’s a myth. They’re the best players in the world, 100%. The schedule and the whole environment are so tough. Every night, you have to guard guys like Anthony Edwards, LeBron James, De’Aaron Fox, or Jimmy Butler—superstars every single night. It’s really tough, but I’m happy I did it. I was in a great environment. I can say, like, Sacramento is a city just for basketball. I enjoyed some parts of it, even though some parts were difficult.
