Ryan Anderson Responds To Gypsy Rose Blanchard DNA Test Rumors
Ryan Anderson addressed the recent DNA test rumors directly, revealing his thoughts on the matter and shedding light on where he stands.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard is seemingly trying to put the rumors to rest about her unborn child’s paternity, and her ex-husband, Ryan Anderson, isn’t staying silent about it.
Earlier this week, speculation circulated that Gypsy planned to take a paternity test, though she reportedly has no doubts about her boyfriend, Ken Urker, being the father. Instead, Gypsy’s main motivation for the test is to bring closure to the public about who the baby daddy is.
Following the recent rumors, Ryan Anderson addressed them directly, revealing his thoughts on the matter and shedding light on where he stands with it all.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Is Allegedly Planning On Taking A Paternity Test
Back in August, Ryan Anderson revealed he "has to take a DNA test for court" due to how "the timeline matches up" with his estranged wife Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s pregnancy.
A few days later, the two reportedly agreed to wait until after the baby was born to proceed with testing. Sources close to Ryan told TMZ that he and Gypsy believe delaying the test will be more practical and cost-effective.
According to reports, a pre-birth paternity test can cost between $500 to $2,000, whereas a post-birth test is significantly less expensive, ranging from $150 to $200.
However, it seems that is no longer the case, as according to new sources who spoke to TMZ, the ex-con is set to take a paternity test this week.
Ryan Anderson Speaks Out Regarding Rumored DNA Test
In a TikTok uploaded on Tuesday, October 29, Ryan Anderson addressed the TMZ report, telling his followers he finds it “so strange” that Gypsy decided to go through with a DNA procedure because he “never once questioned who the baby daddy was.”
“I never once said ‘I’m gonna make a fuss about it’ or ‘I’m gonna prevent this,” he said. “I've never said anything like that. I've always said, ‘Guys it's not my baby.’”
The special education teacher then alleged that Gypsy “probably already had that procedure done” because “you wouldn't tell TMZ about it unless you knew for a fact who the baby daddy already was.”
For the record, it was reported that “sources familiar with the situation” spoke to the outlet, not Gypsy herself.
Ryan Anderson Calls Ken Urker A ‘Home Wrecker’
Later in his video, he directed a comment to Gypsy’s boyfriend. “So Ken, congratulations. You're still a home wrecker, in my opinion, but that is your baby,” he said. “I never fought that. Gypsy knows that.”
After claiming that Gypsy and Ken probably already know who the father is, Ryan accused the couple of planning to “sell the results.” In fact, he went as far as saying he would “put money on it that they already know who the baby daddy is.”
Gypsy and Ken have not yet commented on the rumors or on Ryan’s video.
Navigating Paternity Amid Complex Divorce Laws
In July, a Louisiana attorney shared with People Magazine that Ryan Anderson could be listed as the father on Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s baby’s birth certificate if the child is born before their divorce is finalized.
Louisiana law presumes the husband or ex-husband to be the father if the mother is married to someone other than the biological father at conception or if the divorce is finalized less than 300 days before the birth.
For Gypsy’s boyfriend to be listed as the father, Ryan would need to sign an affidavit acknowledging Ken’s paternity. If Ryan refuses, Ken would have to file a court motion, triggering a mandatory DNA test for all parties involved.
If the test confirms Ken as the biological father, his name will replace Ryan’s on the birth certificate.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s Unborn Child At The Center Of Controversy
Amid ongoing speculation surrounding the brief overlap between Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s separation from her estranged husband and her new relationship with her boyfriend, some fans have raised questions about the paternity of her unborn baby.
In response to the swirling rumors, Gypsy took to social media to address the speculation once and for all.
"Left Ryan March 23rd, had a period April 17th, made love with Ken and only him April 27, 28, 29, 30, and conceived on May 24th," she said in a video, per The Blast's previous report. "Positive test on May 24th. KEN IS THE FATHER."
Gypsy Rose reinforced her stance on the paternity of her unborn child during a recent interview on "Good Morning America," addressing the rumors head-on. "It was mid-March when I left Ryan," she stated firmly. "So, this is absolutely 100% Ken's baby. There was never any question of paternity.”
