Amorim has now told supporters to expect a similarly slow summer window at the end of the current campaign. Speaking in his press conference on Friday, he explained: “Our biggest problem now is Tottenham. “We know with the moment of the club, I have to understand these problems, but that problem is not new. “You know the rules of (financial) fair play, we have a problem at the moment, but my focus is on that and not the other things. “Here is simple, to do something we need to sell players. Chelsea and Napoli both showed an interest in Garnacho during the recent window, but were unable to strike a deal. Meanwhile, Rashford and Antony were followed out of Old Trafford on loan by Tyrell Malacia. The Red Devils are also at risk of missing out on a place in Europe next term, sitting 14 points adrift of the top four ahead of their trip to Spurs. However, Amorim’s side remain in with a chance of silverware in both the FA Cup and Europa League.
