Odds Show The Betting Favorite To Land Bruce Brown

The Toronto Raptors reportedly are motivated to trade Bruce Brown in the upcoming weeks.

So, speculation began about where he would go.

According to Bovada, via NBACentral, the Miami Heat are currently the betting favorites to land Brown.

The Heat have +200 odds, followed by the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets at +325, and the Sacramento Kings, Dallas Mavericks and Memphis Grizzlies at +500.

Where will he go and what will he do for a new team?

Brown spent a season with Denver just a few years ago and was part of its championship run.

The Nuggets have run into a few problems this season and there are surely some fans who would love to see Brown return and re-ignite some old magic.

But right now, the Heat may have the best shot of getting Brown, although it’s not clear where he will end up.

Brown’s post-Denver career has been complicated.

He spent some time with the Indiana Pacers before being shipped off to the Raptors.

But the Raptors have never been entirely sure what to do with Brown, and he has been injured, which forced the coaching staff to make plans that didn’t involve him.

So far this season, Brown is putting up 7.2 points and 3.4 rebounds per game in just nine appearances.

If he can get 100 percent healthy, he could be a vital asset for any of these teams, but there are big questions about him.

Will he be a consequential player like he was for the Nuggets, or will he continue to get injured and not reach his full potential?
