Nets Waive Yongxi Cui
The Brooklyn Nets waived two-way player Yongxi Cui. The rookie guard recently suffered a torn left ACL and will be out for the remainder of the season. Cui played just 10 total minutes over five NBA games with the Nets. In six games with the Long Island Nets of the G League, the 6-foot-5 guard averaged 5.2 points per game and shot 42.9% on three-pointers. Brooklyn had to waive a two-way player, as they acquired guard Reece Beekman as part of the deal that sent Dennis Schroder to the Golden State Warriors. The Nets also acquired guard De'Anthony Melton in the deal, but he'll be out for the remainder of the season after surgery for a partially torn ACL.
