The Lakers can sign a player who was making less than $12.8 million on their contract that was bought out because they have enough room under the second apron. The Lakers are in need of a center after they decided to rescind their trade with the Charlotte Hornets for Mark Williams. Reddish was included in the trade for Williams. "We will find another center path," a team source said. "The path is always there. We just got to put in the work to find it." Jaxson Hayes will remain the starting center for the time being.
