After getting crushed by the Minnesota Timberwolves by 29 points earlier in the week, the Los Angeles Lakers followed up their worst performance of the season with an even worse showing against the Miami Heat at the Kaseya Center.

LeBron James and the Lakers were beaten by 41 points against Jimmy Butler and company in Miami, and now the spotlight has been put on this struggling team, with many questions about who is to blame for the team’s shortcomings.

After the devastating loss to the Heat on the road, there was a lot of blame to go around from James to Anthony Davis to head coach JJ Redick and the team’s overall lack of effort, especially on the defensive end of the basketball floor.

On NBA Today, former player Kendrick Perkins couldn’t help but take a jab at Redick and James, making fun of their old podcast because they didn’t “mind the game” during yesterday’s loss in Miami via NBA on ESPN.

“They didn’t mind the game yesterday in South Beach, did they? That was the name of their podcast,” Perkins said.
