Jayson Tatum continues to cement his legacy with the Boston Celtics, recently adding another milestone to his impressive career.
The superstar has been named Eastern Conference Player of the Month for October and November, marking a significant achievement that further distinguishes him among Celtics legends.
It’s the fifth time he’s claimed Player of the Month honors, positioning him second in Celtics history.
He’s surpassed Paul Pierce’s four awards and is closing in on Larry Bird’s record of seven, Justin Turpin of WEEI wrote on X.

What makes Tatum’s accomplishment even more remarkable is his consistency.
For the third consecutive season, he’s secured the Eastern Conference Player of the Month for October and November.
His stats tell the story — 28.7 points per game (fourth in the league), 8.5 rebounds (14th), 5.8 assists (14th) — helping Boston to an impressive 16-3 record.

To put this into perspective, Tatum is achieving these milestones early in his career.
While Pierce took 19 seasons and Bird 13 to reach similar heights, Tatum is not even halfway through his eighth NBA season.
The 26-year-old is already challenging Bird’s franchise record and is on a trajectory that could cement him among the NBA’s elite.
The potential for greatness is evident. Tatum is tracking to become only the second player in NBA history, alongside Bird, to lead his team in points, rebounds, assists, steals and 3-pointers across multiple seasons.
With the Celtics set to face the Detroit Pistons, fans are eager to see what other records Tatum might chase.
